In 2004, Midwest Living Magazine did a feature article about the Japanese iris at Ensata Gardens and overwhelmed us with catalog requests and iris orders. But we really think that it was the photos of the iris that made people buy the plants! |
Our 36th year growing and selling Japanese and siberian irises by mail order. We used to have the largest collection of Japanese varieties outside of Japan, about 450 varieties, but now only have enough stock of about 100 cultivars to offer.

In Winter, we used to devote full time to Bauer-Coble STUDIOS, a stained glass studio which we founded 48 years ago. We no longer make or sell stained glass.
